I recently came to a flashing red stop light and no one seemed to know the rules of the road. Here is what you do when you come to a flashing red light – you treat it like a four-way stop sign. You follow the exact same rules.

When you come a flashing yellow light you are supposed to slow down and proceed with caution.

Flashing red always means STOP and if everyone is flashing red then follow the rules of a four-way stop sign.
